Happy Anniversary & Thank You For Your Service!

Seven years ago my husband joined the Army!

He told me when he enlisted he planned on going back to Fort Bragg to be with his parents and sister. I bet he would have never expected to be stationed in Hawaii with his wife and child seven short years later!

We have had a busy few months, I think I'll stretch them out through multiple entries this time and see how that works, but I am too excited to wait to share a couple of pictures from our vow renewal!

February was the 5th anniversary of our first date and the beginning of our relationship. We wanted to have the vow renewal then but due to his stolen motorcycle that didn't have GAP insurance (ALWAYS make sure you have GAP!) we didn't have the funds for it.

Instead, we waited a few months and had a small ceremony at Disney's Aulani Resort with both sides of our family and a few friends on island who we lovingly refer to as our Hawaiian Ohana!

For those of you who haven't seen Disney's Lilo and Stitch (or who just don't know what that means), ohana means family. And mahalo means thank you.
