Due to a goof on my part, I accidentally deleted most (if not all) of my photos uploaded to my blog. The images left are the ones I had linked from my Facebook.
As a result, we've moved!

Sorry I'm Not Sorry
Normally I apologize for the long periods between my posts, but not this time! I'm not at all sorry I spent the last 8 months spending time with my family and not blogging.
In the past I compared myself to other mommy bloggers... Usually I ended up feeling like a bad mom because they have multiple children and yet still have time to blog, whereas I only have one child but don't blog as regularly and never about thought provoking topics.
I'm not that kind of person, and you know what? That's okay!
I may only have one child but she is AMAZING! She's smart, funny, sweet, and so beautiful, and I absolutely love spending time with her.
I used to take pictures of everything we did together so I could post them, blog about them, and look back, and then I realized I could have used that time to just cuddle her (while she still wants me to!).
Sure, there are times I wish I wrote about the things that she amazes me with every day, but I have made an active effort to be in the present and not spend so much time behind screens.
Instead of writing, we play, we craft, we learn and read stories. Sometimes we play Disney Infinity together and have dance parties, who cares that I'm not writing about it? Just because I don't write about it, doesn't mean those things didn't happen.
I'll try to write while she's in school, but I only have about 2 hours a day to myself and like to be selfish with that time.

I cheated, I'm sorry.
It has been a very difficult weekend.
In the last 24 hours, I deleted some blog entries, and now I wish I didn't.
It's cheating to take those down and act as though it never happened. I promise I wont do that again.
Maybe tomorrow I'll feel more up to writing about it, but even if no one reads this, I need to remind myself to write about the ups AND the downs.
No one has a perfect life, and that is okay!

It's official...
I suck at blogging.
I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve tried to start and keep a blog.
At the end of the day, I’m just not great with words.
Isn't it ironic that I’m terrible with words when I was convinced for so long that I was going to be a journalist?
That's the problem! I am good at reporting facts, butI'm not good at I don’t know how to be witty.
So I’ll stick with pictures from now on :)

I'm absolutely terrible!
I can't believe the last time I posted was shortly after her birthday. Not even ON her birthday, but after.
And before the party too!
Terrible.
I should bake you all a dozen cookies or something to make up for it. Ha.
Now that I've discovered blogger's iPhone app, I PROMISE to post more than once every couple of months.

Just not now, as it's almost 2am and I should be sleeping.
