our newest addition :)

A couple of weeks ago I was told that our cat Figaro was injured. He tore his ACL and needed surgery to repair it. That was done last week, October 2nd, and he will then be joining us after his recovery and lab tests are completed. We can't wait!

If you've ever had a pet, you know that a home isn't the same when your pet is gone.

So Daniel discovered a military family with a beautiful German Shepherd they needed to rehome. We met him, loved him, and would like to introduce you to our newest family member, Kal-El.

We have had him for a little over two weeks ago, on a trial basis (to see if our daughter would have an allergic reaction to him), but now it is official and he is ours! He is great with children and other animals (including cats!), and is just a big fur-ball full of love.

It is unbelievable how in such a short time he has stolen all of our hearts. Especially our daughter's! She even refuses to nap unless he is in the room with her :)

We are currently training him to be a PTSD therapy dog. After Kal-El met our chaplain, the chaplain requested that he be their therapy dog a few times a week on top of volunteering at the hospital. He's going to be one popular pup!
