Heartbroken.

I cannot find the right words to express how I feel, other than the one in my title, so I'll leave you with a picture instead.

Last night, in lieu of Christmas lights, we placed a candle on our doorstep for all the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.

This morning I woke up before my daughter did, so I went and brought her from her bed to ours and got some quality snuggle time.

I will take every opportunity I can to hold her close, especially after yesterday. Tell your loved ones how you feel, and hold them a little longer today and every day. <|3
